A few things to know up front: the discount is online only — it can’t be used in On retail stores — the code works only on orders of $575 USD / $800 CAD or less (before the discount), and it expires 30 days after you verify. HOW IT WORKS

On verifies eligibility through ID.me, the same identity service used by the VA, the IRS, and many major retailers. You click the verification link on On’s discount page, create a free ID.me account (or sign in), and verify your community — for military, that means providing your branch, status, and service details and, if prompted, uploading proof such as a military ID or DD-214. Once verified, ID.me issues a single-use code valid for 30 days, and you may request up to two single-use codes per calendar month.

The percentage is set via ID.me, not by On. On’s own discount page deliberately publishes no figure and states the value is "subject to change," directing shoppers to ID.me for the current rate. As of June 23, 2026, the ID.me Shop On store page lists 15% off for U.S. and Canadian military, so we present 15% as ID.me-sourced rather than an On-guaranteed permanent rate.

Two redemption rules matter most: the code is online only — it works on On.com or the On app and cannot be used in On stores — and it only applies to orders of $575 USD / $800 CAD or less before the discount. Some coupon and aggregator pages advertise a 10% On military discount, and a few claim "up to 50%"; neither figure is confirmed on a primary source, so we don’t rely on them.
