FOX One runs no military discount — the "free year for veterans" is the separate Fox Nation app (via SheerID). For FOX One itself, watch free via pay-TV login or a Verizon perk, or take the $199.99 annual plan.

Does FOX One offer a military discount? No. FOX One — Fox’s live news and sports streaming app that launched in August 2025 — does not offer a military, veteran, first-responder, or student discount. It costs $19.99 a month or $199.99 a year, with a short free trial and rotating public promos, and there is no ID.me, SheerID, or GovX military verification at its checkout.

If you have seen "Fox gives veterans a free year," that is a different product — Fox Nation, Fox’s opinion, documentary, and entertainment service — which really does give active military and veterans their first year free, then 50% off renewals, verified through SheerID. It is a separate app from FOX One’s live news and sports, so do not expect the free year to apply to FOX One.

So how does a service member get FOX One for the least money? The honest answer is not a military code — it is the paths everyone can use: authenticate free if your cable, satellite, or live-TV package already carries FOX; claim the Verizon FOX One perk (as much as 3 months free, or a $10/month credit) if you are a Verizon customer; or take the annual plan at $199.99 (about $16.67/month), which saves roughly $40 a year over monthly. • FOX One has no service-affiliated discount for anyone — there is no military, veteran, first-responder, or student offer, and no identity verification at its checkout.

FOX One and Fox Nation are different subscriptions, and the confusion drives most "fox one military discount" searches. FOX One (launched August 2025) is the live news and sports app — FOX News, FOX Business, FOX Weather, FOX Sports, FS1/FS2, and FOX local and network — at $19.99/month or $199.99/year. Fox Nation is the older opinion/documentary/entertainment app. Only Fox Nation runs a military offer: a free first year, then 50% off annual renewals, verified through SheerID. FOX One has no equivalent — no military percentage, no promo code, and no identity gate at checkout.

Because FOX One has no military discount, the cheapest routes are non-military and open to everyone. If you already pay for cable, satellite, or a live-TV service that carries FOX, you can authenticate and watch FOX One free — "pay TV subscribers receive access for free." That is the single best deal when it applies.

Verizon customers have a strong second option: the FOX One perk, added in My Verizon, gives 3 months free on new 5G Home Internet, a $10/month credit when bundling mobile plus home internet, or $15/month on a single eligible plan. If neither pay-TV auth nor Verizon applies, the $199.99 annual plan is the only real direct discount — about $16.67/month, saving roughly $40 a year versus monthly. These paths are either/or: a Verizon perk or a fox.com plan, an authentication or a paid sub — they do not stack, and the public "buy 1 month, get 1 free" promo (ends 7/19/2026) is "not combinable with other offers."

If it is genuinely Fox Nation you want, claim the military/veteran free first year at foxnation.com/military (or the separate first-responder path at foxnation.com/first-responders) through SheerID — but know it unlocks Fox Nation, not FOX One’s live news and sports. FOX One itself verifies no military status because it has no military offer to verify.

Exclusions & fine print

• FOX One has no military, veteran, first-responder, or student discount — confirmed absent on fox.com and Fox’s pricing materials as of July 10, 2026.
• There is no ID.me, SheerID, GovX, or VerifyPass military verification at FOX One checkout, and no FOX One military promo code — any you see on coupon sites is unverified.
• The public "buy 1 month, get 1 free" FOX One promo is new/returning subscribers only, one redemption, not combinable with other offers, and expires 7/19/2026.
• The Verizon FOX One perk requires an eligible Verizon plan; perk pricing, credits, and the 3-months-free window are carrier terms that change.
• Fox Nation’s military and first-responder offers cannot be combined with each other, apply to Fox Nation only (not FOX One or the FOX One + Fox Nation bundle price), and are SheerID-verified.
