AT&T Military & Veteran Discount
Up to 20% off per line on eligible AT&T Unlimited plans (20% Premium 2.0 / 15% Extra 2.0 / 10% Value 2.0) for military, veterans, and families — verified through AT&T’s own military form.
AT&T’s Appreciation Savings program gives military members, veterans, and their families up to a 20% discount on eligible AT&T Unlimited wireless plans. The exact savings depend on your plan: 20% off AT&T Premium 2.0, 15% off AT&T Extra 2.0, and 10% off AT&T Value 2.0 (or an older qualifying unlimited plan), applied per line every month.
You confirm eligibility online at AT&T’s military verification form (att.com/verification/military) or in an AT&T store, by providing proof such as a military ID, a recent pay stub, a DD214/NGB 22, or a veteran-designated driver’s license. The discount is recurring — once you’re verified and on a qualifying plan, it applies to your bill, starting within three bills, on top of AT&T’s AutoPay and paperless-billing discounts.
This is an independent guide to help you use the offer. We’re not affiliated with AT&T, and AT&T controls the terms and can change them at any time. HOW IT WORKS
AT&T verifies eligibility through its own military verification form at att.com/verification/military (or in store). You enter your service details and, if not auto-approved, upload a supporting document — a current pay stub (under 90 days), a DD214 or NGB 22/22A, or a veteran-designated driver’s license. AT&T’s pages do not name a third-party verification vendor for this program, so we don’t assert a provider. For help, AT&T lists 855-830-7190 to speak to an expert.
The discount only applies to AT&T’s newer 2.0 unlimited plans (Premium, Extra, or Value) or an older qualifying unlimited plan — not to every AT&T plan, and not to non-unlimited or prepaid plans. The percentage is tiered by plan: 20% on Premium 2.0, 15% on Extra 2.0, and 10% on Value 2.0, per line. The military discount stacks on top of AT&T’s standard AutoPay and paperless-billing discounts, which the plan estimator already reflects.
One thing to watch: many coupon and aggregator pages still advertise a 25% AT&T military discount. That figure is outdated — AT&T’s official military-discount page and support article state "up to 20%", with the per-plan 20% / 15% / 10% breakdown. Use 20% as the headline maximum, never 25%.
Military wireless customers can additionally get 20% off AT&T Fiber when bundling with an eligible unlimited wireless plan (applied within two bills; limited availability and areas). Active first responders and healthcare workers are served by AT&T’s separate FirstNet and Family program rather than this one.
Exclusions & fine print
- Requires a qualifying plan: AT&T Premium 2.0, Extra 2.0, Value 2.0, or an older unlimited plan. Non-unlimited and prepaid plans are not stated to qualify.
- The headline is "up to 20%" — the actual percentage depends on the plan tier (20% / 15% / 10%). It is not a flat 20% on every plan.
- Discount applies after AutoPay and paperless-billing discounts. Taxes and fees are extra, and additional charges, usage, speed, and other restrictions apply. Credits start within three bills.
- Spouses and surviving spouses must provide proof of marriage plus a recent pay stub.
- AT&T does not name a third-party verification provider for this program — verification runs through AT&T’s own military form or in store.
- Re-verification frequency, per-account line caps, and the exact list of qualifying "older unlimited plans" are not stated on AT&T’s official pages.
- Region: United States (att.com). AT&T is not associated with or endorsed by the U.S. Department of Defense.
