GNC Military & Veteran Discount
10% off eligible GNC-brand items online for military, veterans, spouses and family, first responders, medical, teachers, and students — verified free through ID.me.
GNC gives the military community a standing 10% discount through its Community of Heroes program, applied in your cart and verified free through ID.me. Eligibility is broad — active duty, National Guard, Reserves, veterans, retirees, military spouses, surviving spouses, and immediate military family members — and the program also covers nurses, medical providers, first responders, hospital employees, teachers, and students.
Two things matter before you rely on it. It is online only — GNC.com and the app, not in stores — and it cannot be combined with other coupons or sitewide promotions. It also excludes Beyond Raw, Alani Nu, Ghost, and Optimum Nutrition. Because GNC runs frequent "Buy 1 Get 1 50% off" and sitewide sales, and you cannot stack, the smart move is to compare the 10% against whatever sale is live and take the lower price.
This is an independent guide to help you use the offer. We are not affiliated with GNC, and GNC controls the terms, exclusion list, and sale cadence and can change them at any time. Always confirm details on GNC’s official discount page before you buy.

HOW TO REDEEM
Online at www.gnc.com
- Add eligible products to your cartShop GNC.com or the GNC app and add qualifying GNC-brand products to your cart.
- Log in to your GNC accountSign in to — or create — a free GNC.com account.
- Verify with ID.me from your ProfileIn your account Profile, click "Verify with ID.me" and complete ID.me verification of your eligible group.
- Apply your 10% at checkoutOnce verified, the 10% applies automatically in-cart to eligible items. The discount is not available in stores.
HOW IT WORKS
GNC verifies eligibility through ID.me, the same identity service used by the VA, the IRS, and many major retailers. You link ID.me from the Profile section of your GNC.com account; once verified, the 10% applies automatically in-cart to eligible products. ID.me maintains your credentials for reuse across other brands, and GNC states your data is not shared or sold.
The discount is a true standing offer, but it is deliberately narrow in a few ways worth planning around. It is online only — GNC’s own page states it is "Not applicable in stores" — and it never applies to four big third-party brands: Beyond Raw, Alani Nu, Ghost, and Optimum Nutrition. If you are buying those, the 10% will not help, so watch for a sale on them instead.
One thing to watch: some coupon and aggregator pages advertise a 15% GNC military discount, or claim it works in stores. Those are outdated — GNC’s official discount page confirms 10%, online only, verified through ID.me. GNC also references occasional "additional limited-time discounts and special offers," but does not publish a fixed figure for those, so treat any number above 10% as a live promotion to confirm, not a standing rate.
Exclusions & fine print
- Online only — "Not applicable in stores." Also excluded on Amazon and other retailers, and on international orders.
- Brand exclusions: the 10% does not apply to Beyond Raw, Alani Nu, Ghost, or Optimum Nutrition.
- No stacking — cannot be combined with other promotional codes, coupons, or sitewide promotions.
- Not valid on GNC membership purchase or renewal, gift cards, shipping, sales tax, or previous purchases.
- Personal use only — the discount cannot be shared with non-eligible friends.
- Free items in Buy 1 Get 1 sales do not count toward the purchase total.
