HOW IT WORKS

For online purchases, LEGOLAND verifies military status through ID.me, a third-party verification service. You sign in or create an ID.me account and confirm your affiliation; once verified, you can access the discounted pricing. For in-person redemption and at hotel check-in, you must present a current, valid Military/Department of Defense ID or a government-issued ID indicating veteran status — inability to provide it can result in being charged the higher (non-discounted) rate. LEGOLAND does not publish how long ID.me verification lasts, so do not assume it is permanent.

The discount structure differs by park. California publishes the clearest number ("up to 35% off," from $72.54 vs. $129 full price) plus up to 10% off hotels. New York gives a 1-Day ticket with a free second day plus up to 10% off the hotel. Florida advertises "special" / "heavily discounted" ticket pricing — no exact ticket percentage is published, so the price appears only after ID.me verification — plus a limited-time 20% off hotel rooms for stays now through September 3, 2026.

On-base ITT/military ticket offices sometimes carry deeper bundles than the website, and LEGOLAND Florida explicitly points veterans and families there for "deeply discounted" tickets. In recent years LEGOLAND Florida and New York have also run limited-time free-admission events around Veterans Day for military and first responders — those are announced each year, so verify current-year terms before planning.
