HOW IT WORKS
Verification is handled by ID.me, FIGS’s verification partner and the same identity service used by the VA, the IRS, and many retailers. At checkout you select "Students and Military," choose "Military," and complete ID.me’s military verification. An ID.me account is required, and FIGS does not publish a re-verification schedule — ID.me governs how long a verification stays valid and may ask you to re-verify on its own terms, so don’t assume it’s permanent.
FIGS limits its discounts to students and military: there is no dedicated nurse, first responder, teacher, or government discount, even though FIGS is a medical-apparel brand. Medical professionals save only if they separately qualify as military or as students (a parallel 15% student program runs through ID.me in the U.S. and Student Beans internationally).
One thing to plan around: FIGS rarely deep-discounts core scrubs, so the standing 15% is meaningful on full-price scrub sets, tops, pants, lab coats, and underscrubs. When FIGS runs a sale (such as a Sample Sale up to 40% off), the military discount won’t stack — compare which single price is lower for your cart. Aggregator sites claim the issued code expires after six months, but FIGS does not confirm that, so we don’t state it as fact.
Exclusions & fine print
- The military discount cannot be stacked with other codes and cannot be applied to items already discounted during a promotional period.
