Dell Military & Veteran Discount
Up to 10% extra off eligible PCs, electronics, and accessories for military, veterans, and retirees — verified through SheerID on Dell.com.
Dell offers verified military members, veterans, and retirees up to 10% extra off eligible PCs, electronics, and accessories through its Heroes Purchase Program on Dell.com. You create a Dell account, register for free Dell Rewards, and verify your status through SheerID in your account’s membership section — then the discount applies automatically in your cart at checkout. No coupon code is required.
A few things to know up front: the savings are "up to 10%," so the exact amount varies by product, and the discount is limited to two eligible items per transaction and two transactions per year. It works online only — there is no in-store Dell military discount — and it cannot be stacked with other Dell coupons, though it can combine with select offers.
This is an independent guide to help you use the offer. We’re not affiliated with Dell, and Dell controls the terms and can change them at any time. Always confirm current details on Dell’s official Heroes page before you buy.

- Active-duty U.S. military, verified through SheerID (per Dell’s official Heroes page).
- Veterans, verified through SheerID.
- Military retirees, verified through SheerID.
- First responders — police, firefighters, EMTs, and search-and-rescue — qualify under the same Heroes program, verified separately through SheerID.

- Reserve/National Guard members, military spouses, dependents, and Gold Star families are not listed on Dell’s official Heroes page — many aggregators claim they qualify, but Dell does not confirm it, so verify directly through SheerID before assuming eligibility.

- Shop and save automaticallyOnce verified, shop eligible products — up to 10% extra off is applied automatically in your cart at checkout. No coupon code is required.
HOW IT WORKS
Dell verifies eligibility through SheerID, a third-party verification service. You start verification from your Dell account’s membership section — not at general checkout: open the military discount program, click Verify, and complete the SheerID form, uploading documents if SheerID requests them. Verification is usually almost instant; if SheerID needs to review documents manually, it typically takes about 20 minutes in the U.S.
For verification problems (pending or failed), Dell directs you to SheerID’s Help Center. For discount or purchase issues on Dell.com after you’re verified, Dell directs you to its sales team via Contact Us.
Two things to watch. First, many aggregators present a flat "10% off" — Dell’s own page says "Save up to 10% extra," so treat 10% as a ceiling that varies by product, not a guaranteed rate. Second, some aggregators claim Reserve/National Guard members, spouses, dependents, and Gold Star families are eligible. Dell’s official Heroes page does not state this — it lists only active-duty, veterans, and retirees — so don’t assume those groups qualify without checking through SheerID.
Exclusions & fine print
- The discount is "up to 10% extra" — a maximum, not a flat rate; the actual amount varies by product, and savings are reflected in cart.
- Caps: up to 2 eligible products per transaction, and up to 2 transactions per year per eligible customer.
- Stacking: can be combined with select Dell offers but cannot be stacked with other Dell coupons.
- Excluded: warranties, gift cards, clearance offers, limited-quantity deals, certain order codes, and "some PCs, electronics, and accessories." Dell does not publish a full itemized exclusion list — confirm in cart.
- Channel: Dell.com only. There is no in-store Dell military discount, and it cannot be used at third-party retailers that sell Dell products.
- Region: United States (Dell.com). Dell UK runs a separate Defence Discount program with different terms.
