Aimpoint Military & Veteran Discount
A real first-party military, veteran & law enforcement purchase program — but Aimpoint never publishes the discount amount. Here’s who qualifies, how to verify, and how to buy for the least.
Yes — Aimpoint runs a genuine, first-party Law Enforcement, Military & First Responder purchase program on its own site, open to active and retired military (including veterans), law enforcement, federal agencies, fire and EMS, and security professionals. The catch: Aimpoint does not publish the discount percentage. You only see the "professional segment" pricing after you create an account and upload proof of service, so no honest page can quote you a flat "X% off."
The program is worth enrolling in if you are eligible and buying new — but it is not automatically the cheapest route. Aimpoint’s own MSRP on a flagship Micro T-2 is about $986, while ordinary retailers (Brownells, EuroOptic, OpticsPlanet) routinely sell the same optic for roughly $900–$930 with no verification at all. The smart move is to get verified, then price-check the program’s number against the street price before you check out.
This is an independent guide. NavyWeek is not affiliated with Aimpoint; Aimpoint sets and can change these terms at any time, and the discount amount is not publicly disclosed.

BEST SAVINGS PATH
The smartest route depends on your situation. Answer the two questions to find your best path, or scan the full decision table below.
| Path | Stack | Effective price | You save | Best when |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Aimpoint LE/Military/First-Responder program | Gated store — no codes or portals stack | Not published (verify to see) | Unknown until approved | You are a verified pro/veteran buying new direct with full warranty and the gated price beats retail after tax |
| GovX marketplace | Closed marketplace — no codes/cashback on top | Member price hidden (register free) | Item-specific | A specific SKU is listed below retailer street price and you are already a GovX member |
| Ordinary retailer street price (Brownells / EuroOptic / OpticsPlanet) | Public sale + occasional retailer % | ~$900–$930 + tax | ~$56–$90 vs MSRP | You want the lowest no-hassle price on new with zero verification |
| Refurb / used / open-box (EuroOptic "USED") | Standalone | Below new (varies) | Varies | You are comfortable with a used or open-box unit |
| VCS PatriotStores (Veterans Canteen Service) | Tax-free for eligible VA patrons | Marketplace price minus sales tax | Sales-tax value (~6–10%) | You are VA-enrolled/eligible and the VCS price is competitive |
| Military exchange (AAFES/NEX) | Tax-free if stocked | Not confirmed stocked | Sales-tax value if carried | You have exchange privileges and confirm the model is stocked (price-check first) |
WHO QUALIFIES
Aimpoint runs a first-party Law Enforcement, Military & First Responder purchase program with verified professional pricing, but it does not publish the discount amount — you only see program pricing after creating an account and uploading proof of service.
- Active-duty military across all branches — Navy, Marine Corps, Army, Air Force, Space Force, and Coast Guard — verified with a military ID or a redacted pay stub showing only name and organization.
- Veterans and honorably discharged service members — verified with a DD-214 or discharge certificate.
- Reserve, National Guard, and retired military.
- Law enforcement (active, civilian, retired) and federal agency personnel (agents, civilians, retired).
- Fire & EMS personnel.
- Private security and security contractors.
- Note: spouses and dependents are not listed as a separate eligible group — Aimpoint’s program is built around service members and professionals, so do not assume access.

HOW TO REDEEM
Online at aimpoint.us
- Create an Aimpoint accountGo to aimpoint.us/le-military-discount and create an account for the Law Enforcement, Military & First Responder program.
- Choose your category and upload a documentSelect your qualifying group and upload one accepted document — military or agency ID, DD-214, discharge certificate, business card, official letterhead letter, USAA membership, or a redacted pay stub showing only your name and organization.
- Wait for verificationAimpoint reviews credentials in house (not through ID.me or SheerID) and states approval comes no later than the following business day.
- Shop the verified professional-segment storeOnce approved, shop your program pricing on the gated catalog — a limited selection of professional-segment products, capped at 5 optics per calendar year and not for resale.
- Price-check before you buyCompare your approved program price against the current retailer street price for the same model (Brownells, EuroOptic, OpticsPlanet) — the program does not automatically win.
HOW IT WORKS
Aimpoint’s program — also branded the "Government Purchase Program" — is a gated store, not a stackable code. You create an account, select your eligibility category, and upload one supporting document; a human reviews it (stated turnaround: by the next business day) before your discounted catalog unlocks. Aimpoint uses its own in-house verification, not a third-party service like ID.me or SheerID.
Eligibility is broad: active, civilian, and retired law enforcement; federal agency agents, civilians, and retirees; active-duty, reserve, National Guard, and veteran military; fire and EMS; and private security and security contractors. The current program page caps purchases at 5 optics per calendar year (up from 2 at the May 2025 launch of the individual-officer version) and states that program optics are not for resale.
Be cautious of coupon and aggregator sites that advertise a specific Aimpoint "10%–25% military discount" or a percentage-off code. Aimpoint publishes no such figure — the value is only visible after your credentials are approved — so any specific percentage you see on a coupon site is unverified. We deliberately omit it here.
Separately, GovX operates an Aimpoint storefront (govx.com/m/809/aimpoint) with member pricing that is also hidden until you register for a free GovX ID. Treat GovX as a substitute channel, not a stack — you cannot add a brand code or a cashback portal on top of its pricing. The Veterans Canteen Service (VCS) PatriotStores also carry Aimpoint tax-free for eligible VA patrons, which matters on a roughly $986 optic where sales tax is real money.
Exclusions & fine print
- The discount applies only to "a limited selection of professional segment products," not the full Aimpoint catalog.
- Purchases are capped at up to 5 optics per calendar year.
- Program optics are not for resale — resale or other rule violations cause access to be denied.
- The exact discount is not disclosed publicly; the figure is visible only after approval and can change without notice.
- No public promo code, sale, or cashback portal stacks with the gated program — it is a separate store at pre-set prices.
- Not stated: spouse or dependent eligibility, any warranty differences on program units, and price-adjustment or price-protection terms.
