Zappos has no verifiable military discount today — its former SheerID program was discontinued. Here’s the verified status, plus how service members can still save.

Zappos does not currently advertise a military or veteran discount that we can confirm on Zappos.com. Zappos once ran a SheerID-verified "Programs" discount (10% off online for military, students, and teachers), but that program has been discontinued and is no longer documented on Zappos’ own help pages as of June 2026.

That doesn’t mean service members can’t save at Zappos — it just means the savings are the same ones open to every shopper: the free Zappos VIP rewards program, a one-time 10%-off code for new email subscribers, clearance and seasonal sales, and occasional sitewide promo codes. Zappos also offers free shipping and a free 365-day return window on every order.

As of June 23, 2026, Zappos has no military or veteran discount confirmable on a current Zappos source. Its former SheerID "Programs" discount (10% off for military, students, and teachers) has been discontinued. Service members get the same free shipping, free 365-day returns, and general savings as everyone.

There is no active military discount to qualify for — no group (active duty, veterans, retirees, Reserve/Guard, spouses, dependents) currently gets a status-based Zappos price.

HOW IT WORKS

There is no active military verification at Zappos. Historically, Zappos verified eligibility through SheerID on a dedicated "Programs" page (create a Zappos login, verify status with SheerID, then receive a code applied for up to one year with annual re-verification). That program has been discontinued and the verification flow is no longer confirmable on Zappos.com. If Zappos relaunches a program, confirm the live provider and terms directly on Zappos.com.

The conclusion rests on primary and updated sources: ID.me states it is "not aware that Zappos offers Military discounts," Zappos’ former "truth about zappos coupons" policy page now returns a no-results state, and no military offer appears on Zappos’ live coupon or promotion pages. Stale editorial pages (and 2019 launch coverage) still describing a live 10% /c/programs discount could not be confirmed against a current Zappos source and are not treated as fact.

The real, everyone-eligible ways to save are Zappos VIP (1 point per $1, free expedited shipping), the new-subscriber 10%-off email code, clearance and seasonal sales, and occasional sitewide codes — all on top of free shipping and free 365-day returns. Service members who want a verified military discount may find one at competing footwear brands via SheerID or ID.me; verify each on its own site.

No military discount currently exists, so there are no military-offer terms — stale third-party pages describing a live 10% /c/programs discount are unverified.
General Zappos promo codes apply before taxes and shipping, cannot be applied to taxes, shipping, or previous purchases, cannot be redeemed for gift cards, and may not be combined with certain other offers.
The new-subscriber 10%-off email code is one code per email address; codes are non-transferable and offered "while supplies last."

Does Zappos offer a military discount?

Not currently in a form we can verify. How much was the Zappos military discount?

When the program was active, it was 10% off online orders, applied after status verification and good for up to one year before re-verification. That figure reflects the historic program and is not a currently confirmable offer.

Do veterans, spouses, or dependents qualify?

There is no active military discount to qualify for. The former program had included active duty, reservists, National Guard, veterans, retirees, and immediate family with a valid dependent ID, but it is no longer confirmable as live.

How do I verify my military status at Zappos?
