The offer is for new or eligible returning Disney+ subscribers only — if you already have an active Disney+ subscription, you can’t apply it to your existing account. It covers only the annual Premium (No Ads) plan, not the monthly plan, the ad-supported plan, or any Disney Bundle.   1. Confirm Exchange authorization
    Confirm you are an authorized Exchange shopper and have (or create) a valid ShopMyExchange.com account.
  2. Open the Disney+ offer page
    Go to the Disney+ military exclusive offer page on ShopMyExchange.com and sign in to your Exchange account.
  3. Sign up for Disney+
    Select the offer and follow the prompt to sign up for Disney+ (as a new or eligible returning subscriber) and agree to the Disney+ Subscriber Agreement.
  4. Pay and complete
    Provide a valid payment method (gift cards are not accepted) and complete sign-up for the annual Premium (No Ads) plan at 25% off.

HOW IT WORKS

Verification is handled entirely by The Exchange’s existing shopper-authorization system, not by ID.me or SheerID. To reach the offer you must have a valid, current ShopMyExchange.com account, which AAFES grants to authorized patrons — active duty, retirees, Guard/Reserve, and honorably discharged veterans who verify status through the VA’s online process. Once you have an Exchange account, no additional Disney-side military verification is described.

The "military families" wording in Disney’s press release does not override Exchange access rules: the standard online Veterans benefit does not automatically extend online access to a veteran’s family members, so spouse/dependent eligibility depends on whether that person holds their own authorized ShopMyExchange account. Confirm this at ShopMyExchange.com.

Disney has changed Disney+ Premium pricing repeatedly, so this guide deliberately states the 25% figure rather than a dollar amount — pull live pricing from ShopMyExchange or disneyplus.com at the time you subscribe.

Exclusions & fine print

  • Applies only to the annual Disney+ Premium (No Ads) plan in the U.S. (including territories) — not the monthly plan, the ad-supported plan, or any Disney Bundle.
  • For new or eligible returning subscribers only — current Disney+ subscribers cannot redeem.
  • Cannot be combined with any other offers, coupons, discounts, or promotions, and gift cards cannot be used.

No. The Disney+ streaming military offer is verified through The Exchange (AAFES) shopper authorization, not ID.me, GovX, SheerID, or WeSalute. Some aggregator pages incorrectly cite ID.me/SheerID for Disney+ — that is not accurate for the streaming offer.

Can I use the discount in stores?

No. It is an online-only offer redeemed at ShopMyExchange.com. There is no register or in-store redemption for the Disney+ streaming discount.

What is excluded?
