Squarespace Military & Veteran Discount
Squarespace has no military discount — no verification, no "military code." The real savings: 50% for enrolled students via Student Beans, or the biggest live public code on an annual plan.
Squarespace does not offer a military or veteran discount. There’s no military checkout, no ID.me, SheerID, GovX, WeSalute, or VerifyPass military verification, and no military language anywhere on Squarespace’s official student-discount, coupons, or pricing pages.
If you’ve seen a "Squarespace military discount — 50% off" on a coupon site, that figure is a mislabeled version of Squarespace’s student discount — a real but separate program that takes 50% off the first year of an annual plan for currently-enrolled full-time college students, verified through Student Beans. There is no military-verified 50% code.
What actually saves a service member money: if you’re a full-time college student — which includes many active-duty members and veterans using Tuition Assistance or the GI Bill — take the Student Beans 50%. If not, use a public code (a ~20% seasonal code when live, otherwise GIMME10 for 10%) on an annual plan; annual billing alone already runs ~28–36% cheaper than monthly. This is an independent guide; we’re not affiliated with Squarespace, and Squarespace can change its terms at any time.

BEST SAVINGS PATH
The smartest route depends on your situation. Answer the two questions to find your best path, or scan the full decision table below.
Find your best path
1. Are you a currently-enrolled full-time college student?
2. Is a 20%-off seasonal code live on squarespace.com/coupons?
Enrolled full-time students (TA and GI Bill students included): verify with Student Beans for 50% off the first annual year. Everyone else: apply the largest live public code — a ~20% seasonal code when running, otherwise GIMME10 for 10% — to an annual plan.
Codes don’t combine, so take the biggest — the student 50% beats any public code.
The student discount is the largest legitimate Squarespace discount by far.
It’s the biggest code non-students can use — apply it to an annual plan.
The standing first-purchase code — and still choose annual billing over monthly.
| Path | Stack | Effective price | You save | Best when |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Military discount (Squarespace-direct) | None — no such offer | Full price — does not exist | $0 | Never — Squarespace offers no military discount |
| Student discount (Student Beans) | Cannot combine with other codes | 50% of the plan price | 50% of the first year | You’re a currently-enrolled full-time college student (many service members on TA or the GI Bill qualify) |
| Public ~20% seasonal code | Cannot combine; time-boxed | 80% of the plan price | 20% of the first payment | Not a student and a 20%-off code is live at squarespace.com/coupons |
| Public GIMME10 code | First purchase only; not combinable | 90% of the plan price | 10% of the first payment | Not a student and no 20% code is currently live |
| Annual billing (the baseline itself) | Underlies every code above | Already in the baseline | ~28–36% vs monthly billing | Any time you commit for a year instead of month-to-month |

WHO QUALIFIES
Squarespace offers no military or veteran discount — no military verification and no "military code." The real savings are the separate 50% student discount (Student Beans) or a public promo code, both on annual plans.
- No military, veteran, retiree, reservist, National Guard, spouse, or dependent discount is published by Squarespace — no military offer exists for any status.
- Currently-enrolled full-time college students — including many active-duty members and veterans studying on Tuition Assistance or the GI Bill — qualify for the separate 50% student discount, verified through Student Beans (annual plans; not alumni, faculty, staff, or high-school students).
- Everyone can use Squarespace’s public promo codes: the first-purchase GIMME10 (10% off) or a recurring ~20%-off seasonal code, on annual website plans.
- First responder, medical, teacher, and government programs are not stated in Squarespace’s official sources — no dedicated program was found.

HOW TO REDEEM
Online at www.squarespace.com
- There is no military discount to redeemSquarespace uses no military verification provider (no ID.me, SheerID, GovX, WeSalute, or VerifyPass) because it has no military discount. The steps below are the real savings paths, open to you regardless of military status.
- Enrolled student? Verify with Student Beans for 50% offStart a trial site at squarespace.com, verify your full-time student status at Student Beans, then paste the single-use code into the Promo-code field on an annual website plan at checkout. One code per 12 months; first payment only.
- Not a student? Use the largest live public codeCheck squarespace.com/coupons for a live ~20% seasonal code; if none is running, GIMME10 takes 10% off your first purchase of an annual plan.
- Always pick annual over monthlyAnnual billing runs roughly 28–36% cheaper than monthly before any code, and a new annual site includes a year of free domain registration.
- Apply exactly one codeSquarespace codes never combine — student, GIMME10, and the seasonal code are mutually exclusive. Pick the single largest one you qualify for; it applies to the first payment only, and the plan renews at full price.
HOW IT WORKS
Verification is not applicable for a military discount, because none exists. The only identity-verified Squarespace discount is the student offer, handled by Student Beans: you verify enrollment, get a single-use code (one per 12 months), and apply it to an annual website plan. No re-verification maintains a discount, because every code hits the first payment only and the site renews at full price.
A common source of confusion: Squarespace Forum threads about "GovX" or "VerifyPass military discounts" are merchants asking how to add military verification to their own Squarespace-built stores — not customers getting a discount from Squarespace. GovX does not resell Squarespace subscriptions, so there is no "military via marketplace" route either.
For the math, all the real discounts are percentages of your plan price, and they don’t combine. The student 50% is by far the biggest; the ~20% seasonal code is next; GIMME10’s 10% is the floor. Whichever you use, choose annual billing — it’s already ~28–36% cheaper than paying monthly and includes a free year of domain on a new site.
Exclusions & fine print
- No military, veteran, first-responder, teacher, nurse, or government discount is published by Squarespace.
- Student and public codes apply to the first payment only — sites renew at full price.
- The 50% student discount and the promo codes are for annual website plans only — they exclude monthly plans, Squarespace Domains, Acuity Scheduling, Mobile Start, and reactivated sites.
- Codes cannot be combined with each other or with other offers, and aren’t valid on renewals, upgrades, previous purchases, or In-App Pay.
- Seasonal codes are time-boxed — enter them before the stated expiration.

All military & veteran discountsEditorial policy
- Source priority. We cite Squarespace’s own student-discount help article, squarespace.com/students, squarespace.com/coupons, and squarespace.com/pricing first, and report plainly that no military or veteran discount exists — none of those pages mentions a military offer or a military verification partner. We debunk the "Squarespace Military Discount — 50% OFF" headlines on coupon aggregators, which mislabel Squarespace’s separate Student Beans student discount as a military one. The student 50%, the GIMME10 code, and the ~20% seasonal code are quoted as the real, everyone-verifiable paths and were confirmed on the "Last verified" date above.
