Rather than a flat "percentage off," these are special rate codes Disney releases on specific ship-and-date combinations, available for new bookings only and subject to a per-sailing stateroom cap. For 2026, Disney is also giving eligible military guests a $250 onboard credit per reservation on select Disney Wish and Disney Dream sailings from Florida, and that credit can be stacked with the military rate.

Eligibility is tied to active or retired U.S. military status. You book online, by phone, or through a travel advisor, then present a valid U.S. Military ID at check-in at the pier. HOW TO REDEEM

  1. Review eligible select sailings
    On Disney Cruise Line’s Military Rates page, review the list of eligible sailings (ship, date, and stateroom category).
  2. Book a qualifying sailing
    Select an eligible sailing and book it online as a new booking under the military rate; confirm the $250 onboard credit if booking a select Disney Wish or Disney Dream Florida 2026 sailing.
  3. Pay the voyage fare
    Complete payment for the voyage fare. Taxes, fees, port expenses, gratuities, and Port Adventures are additional.
  4. Verify your ID at the pier
    At check-in the eligible service member (or spouse) — who must sail in the stateroom — presents a valid U.S. Military ID. Active Guard/Reserve members also present active-duty orders dated as of Jan 1 of the previous year.

    Call the Disney Cruise Line Contact Center or contact your travel advisor and ask for an eligible Special US Military Rate sailing.
  2. Confirm the booking and credit
    Book the qualifying sailing as a new booking and confirm the $250 onboard credit on select Disney Wish/Dream Florida 2026 sailings.
  3. Present your ID at check-in
    At the port, present your valid U.S. Military ID (plus active-duty orders if active Guard/Reserve). The eligible member or spouse must be sailing in the stateroom.

HOW IT WORKS

Disney does not use a third-party verification service for the military rate. There is no online status check and no account requirement beyond a normal Disney booking — eligibility is confirmed in person at pier check-in. The eligible service member (or a spouse with a valid, active military ID) must be sailing in the stateroom. Verification is per booking, not a persistent "verify once" status.

Because Disney publishes no percentage, the dollar savings vary by ship, date, and stateroom category. Aggregator claims of "20%–35% off" are not stated by Disney and are not represented here. The select-sailing list changes over time, so check the live page for current eligible dates before booking.

The 2026 $250 onboard credit is a flat, separate benefit honoring America’s 250th anniversary. It auto-appears on the stateroom account for shipboard services, merchandise, food and beverage, or Port Adventures, and is the one offer Disney explicitly allows to be combined with the Special US Military Rate.

Exclusions & fine print

  • Special US Military rates are for new bookings only and apply to voyage fare only — taxes, fees, port expenses, gratuities, and Port Adventures are excluded.
  • Limit one stateroom per eligible member (or spouse) per sailing; offer is limited to 50 staterooms per category per sailing and subject to availability.
  • Cannot be combined with any other offers or discounts — except that the 2026 $250 onboard credit can be combined with the military rate.
  • Disney Vacation Club points cannot be used to book these sailings.
  • The $250 onboard credit is limited to one per reservation, covers stateroom categories 04A–11C, excludes Concierge staterooms and suites, is non-refundable/non-transferable, and requires sailing by December 31, 2026.

How much is the Disney Cruise military discount?

Disney does not publish a fixed percentage. The military rate is a special discounted fare applied to the voyage fare on specific sailings, so the dollar savings vary by ship, date, and stateroom category. The separate 2026 onboard-credit offer is a flat $250 per reservation.

Do veterans, spouses, or dependents qualify?

Spouses qualify if they present a valid and active U.S. Military ID in the absence of the service member. How do I verify my military status?

Does Disney Cruise Line use ID.me, GovX, SheerID, or WeSalute?

No. Disney Cruise Line does not use a third-party military verification service for this offer. Verification is done by presenting a military ID at check-in.

What is excluded?

The military rate applies to voyage fare only — taxes, fees, port expenses, gratuities, and Port Adventures are excluded. It’s new bookings only, can’t combine with other offers (except the $250 credit), and can’t be booked with Disney Vacation Club points. The $250 credit excludes Concierge staterooms and suites.

What happens if I can’t show my military ID at check-in?

Both the military rate and the onboard credit require the eligible service member (or spouse) to present valid identification at check-in. If valid proof isn’t provided, Disney charges the non-discounted prevailing rate.
