Jay Peak Resort Military & Veteran Discount
US active-duty: a $199 season pass plus 50% off rentals & waterpark. Canadian military: 50% off day tickets. Verified in person.
Jay Peak’s military program is one of the best in the East — but read the fine print, because it centers on active-duty, not veterans. US active-duty members and their dependents get a full-season pass for $199 + tax, plus 50% off rentals and the Pump House waterpark and 10% off lodging. Canadian active-duty and veterans get 50% off day lift tickets (the member only). Everything is verified in person at Tramside Guest Services — there is no online military code.
If you are a US veteran without active-duty status, Jay Peak does not publish a veteran day rate; your best move is buying the public ticket online in advance (which saves $20 versus the window) and watching Ski Vermont’s statewide military days around Veterans Day and Memorial Day.
This is an independent guide. NavyWeek is not affiliated with Jay Peak Resort, which sets the terms and can change them at any time.

HOW TO REDEEM
Online at jaypeakresort.com
- US veterans: buy the public ticket in advanceJay Peak does not publish a US-veteran day rate; buy the public lift ticket online in advance (saving $20 vs the window price) and watch Ski Vermont’s statewide military days around Veterans Day and Memorial Day.
In store
- Bring your documents (US active-duty season pass)Bring active orders showing a Vermont base assignment, a current military ID, and a Vermont ID. Dependents bring ID confirming the family relationship.
- Verify at Tramside Guest ServicesGo to Tramside Guest Services to verify and pick up the pass. Optionally email customerservice@jaypeakresort.com first to pre-clear documents. Pickup is blacked out around Christmas & Presidents’ Week.
- Canadian day ticketPresent a valid military ID at the respective location (lift ticket / rental / waterpark). The 50% discount applies to the member only, not friends or family.
HOW IT WORKS
The military season pass and Canadian 50% day ticket are standalone rates — treat them as the final price, not a code stacked on a public ticket. The season pass pays for itself in roughly two days against a single weekend window ticket ($139).
Verification is in person, not through ID.me, GovX, or SheerID. Jay Peak checks physical documents at Tramside Guest Services (US) or at each location (Canada). US applicants need orders showing a Vermont base assignment plus military and Vermont ID.
On top of the pass, US active-duty can add 50% off rentals and the Pump House waterpark and 10% off lodging packages. Jay Peak also participates in Ski Vermont’s Mission Affordable low-cost access program (an affordability program, not military-only).
Exclusions & fine print
- Season-pass pickup is blacked out around Christmas and Presidents’ Week.
- The Canadian 50% day ticket is member only — no friends or family.
- No online military code — the military rates are verified in person only.
- The US season pass requires orders showing a Vermont base assignment; passes are non-transferable and photo-verified at the lift (sharing triggers a $200 fine, confiscation, and permanent disqualification).
