2026 Military Freedom Pass — $220 (2-Park) / $255 (3-Park) per adult for 13+ months of admission, sold only at base ticket offices with a DEERS ID. Veterans and first responders use GovX.

Universal Orlando Resort’s main military offer isn’t a coupon you enter online — it’s the 2026 Military Freedom Pass, a promotional ticket sold only through Authorized Military Ticket & Travel offices (your base ITT/MWR/Leisure Travel office, Shades of Green, and similar outlets). For a flat $220 (2-Park) or $255 (3-Park) per adult, an eligible service member gets more than a year of near-unlimited admission to Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure — plus Volcano Bay on the 3-Park — from November 13, 2025 through December 18, 2026 (blockout dates apply).

Against Universal’s regular multi-day ticket prices, that’s an exceptional deal — it behaves like a heavily discounted annual-style pass, though Universal is explicit that it is not an Annual Pass and carries none of the AP perks. Two things to know: the brand-new Epic Universe park is not included (it’s a separately priced 1-Day add-on that requires an activated Freedom Pass), and the Freedom Pass is for active/retired military, Guard, Reserve, Coast Guard, spouses, DOD civilians, and 100% disabled veterans. If you’re a veteran who isn’t retired or 100% disabled, or a first responder, your path is GovX instead (up to $100 off, purchased online).

Universal Orlando’s flagship military offer is the 2026 Military Freedom Pass — $220 (2-Park) or $255 (3-Park) per adult for 13+ months of admission — sold only at Authorized Military Ticket & Travel offices with a physical DEERS military ID. Non-retired veterans and first responders buy online through GovX.

Active-duty service members (all branches, including U.S. Coast Guard) — eligible for the Freedom Pass.
Reserve and National Guard members — eligible for the Freedom Pass.
Retired military (all branches) — eligible for the Freedom Pass.
Spouses of eligible members — eligible; one of the six purchased tickets may be used by the spouse.
DOD Civilian personnel (federal government employees of the Department of Defense) — eligible for the Freedom Pass tickets with a qualifying DEERS ID, but NOT for the hotel discount.

Visit your base ITT/MWR/Leisure Travel Services office, Shades of Green, or a similar Authorized outlet. Find locations via the list on Universal’s official military page.
Show your DEERS ID and buy the pass
Present a valid DEERS-issued Military/DOD photo ID and buy the 2-Park ($220 adult) or 3-Park ($255 adult) Freedom Pass. You may buy up to 6 tickets; at least one must be for the member or spouse.
Activate at the park with the member present
At Universal, the eligible member must be present to exchange/activate the promotional tickets for the whole party at the Front Gate Ticket window, Guest Services, or a Destination Universal desk — again showing the DEERS ID.
Optional: add Epic Universe as a 1-Day
Epic Universe is not in the Freedom Pass. If you want it, buy the Epic Universe 1-Day add-on (it requires the activated pass; daily pricing shows in the web store).

HOW IT WORKS

The Freedom Pass uses physical, in-person verification — a valid DEERS-issued Military or DOD photo ID, checked both when you buy at the base office and again when you exchange the tickets at the park gate. There is no ID.me or SheerID step for the Freedom Pass, and there is no online military percentage code for it. Anyone quoting a flat online “Universal military discount %” is conflating two different channels: the base-office Freedom Pass and the separate GovX marketplace.

You may buy up to six promotional tickets per eligible member, and at least one must be used by the member or spouse. The eligible member must be present at the park to exchange and activate the whole party’s tickets. The 3-Park option adds Volcano Bay for $35 more than the 2-Park; pick it only if Volcano Bay is on your list, and note Volcano Bay is blocked Oct 26 – Dec 18, 2026 for maintenance.

GovX is the online path for non-retired veterans and first responders (law enforcement, fire, EMS). It runs its own online verification and sells Universal Orlando tickets “up to $100 off.” The exact GovX figure is not published as a fixed number — verify the live price. If you’re staying overnight, you can layer the military hotel rate (40% off the Cabana Bay flexible rate, or up to 30% off other Universal hotels) as a separate booking that stacks with the pass; it is booked through the Authorized office or 1-877-801-9720 and is not available to DOD civilians.

Exclusions & fine print

Epic Universe is excluded from the Freedom Pass; it is a separately priced 1-Day add-on that requires an activated pass (dynamic daily pricing).
Blockout dates: Dec 25, 2025 – Jan 4, 2026 and Mar 30 – Apr 6, 2026 (both parks). Volcano Bay is also blocked Oct 26 – Dec 18, 2026 (maintenance closure ~Oct 26, 2026).
The Freedom Pass is not an Annual Pass — no Early Park Admission, no food or merchandise discount, no free parking, no AP lounges or events.
