Advance Auto Parts offers a 10% military discount on regularly-priced items, and it’s confirmed on Advance’s own help desk, so this one’s solid. The catch is that it’s in-store only: you show a valid military ID (a Uniformed Services ID card, CAC, or Veteran ID Card) at the register, and the 10% comes off regularly-priced parts. It doesn’t work on Advanceautoparts.com, doesn’t apply to sale or clearance items, and can’t be combined with coupons or promo codes.

That last point matters more than it sounds. Advance runs big public promo codes almost all the time — usually around 15% off $35+ or 20% off $100+ online. For an online order, that public code beats the 10% military rate outright, and since the military discount doesn’t work online anyway, the code is simply the better tool there. So the smart move is: use the 10% military discount in-store on full-price parts, and use the public promo code online. They never stack, so you just pick the bigger one.
