Ulta Beauty does not offer a military or veteran discount. As of June 23, 2026, there is no active-duty, veteran, retiree, spouse, or dependent discount at Ulta — not online, not in stores, and not in the Ulta Beauty app. Ulta does not use ID.me, GovX, or WeSalute to verify military status, and the SheerID verification it does use applies only to a separate student program.

That doesn’t mean you can’t save at Ulta. Ulta Beauty Rewards is free to join and earns points on nearly every purchase, and Ulta runs frequent storewide coupons and seasonal sales that are open to everyone, including the military community.

HOW IT WORKS

Ulta does not run any military, veteran, first-responder, or government-employee verification. ID.me’s brand pages for Ulta state, for each group, "We are not aware of ULTA Beauty offering [Military / First Responders / Government Employees] community discounts." If a third-party site asks you to "verify for an Ulta military discount," treat it as unaffiliated and unverified.

The only consumer verification Ulta operates is for students, through SheerID — a completely separate program. Students who are Ulta Beauty Rewards members (16+, currently enrolled) confirm their details with SheerID; a successful verification lasts one year, but a coupon code is only issued when a limited-time student offer is live. This student path does not extend to military status.

The best evergreen way for military shoppers to save at Ulta is the free Ulta Beauty Rewards program, plus public coupons and seasonal events (summer sale, Buy More Save More, 21 Days of Beauty) that are open to all.
