Disney Military & Veteran Discount
Disney’s 2026 Military Salute: a WDW 6-Day Park Hopper for $449 + tax, Disneyland tickets from $314, and 15–30% off WDW rooms for active or retired U.S. military — verified in person with a military ID.
Disney offers one of the most valuable military discounts in travel through its Disney Military Salute program (also called the Disney Armed Forces Salute). For 2026, eligible service members can buy specially priced multi-day theme park tickets and book discounted resort hotel rooms at both Walt Disney World in Florida and Disneyland in California. At Walt Disney World, that means a 6-Day Park Hopper for $449 plus tax — and, for America’s 250th anniversary, a new all-year "Disney Celebrates America" Military Salute Ticket for $499 plus tax. At Disneyland, tickets start at a 3-Day Park Hopper for $314. Room discounts run up to 30% off at Walt Disney World resorts.
Eligibility is specific. The Salute tickets and rooms are for active or retired U.S. military — including National Guard, Reserve, Coast Guard, Space Force, and the PHS/NOAA Commissioned Corps — and spouses who carry a valid military ID (the member or the spouse, not both). Ordinary, non-retired veterans do not qualify for these tickets or rooms based on a DD-214 alone. You buy through a U.S. military base ticket office, Shades of Green Resort, GOVX (Disneyland), or a Disney park ticket window, and you must activate the ticket in person with your military ID.
This is an independent guide to help you use the offer. We’re not affiliated with Disney, and Disney controls the terms and can change, pause, or end them at any time — including the annual price and date resets. All figures here are confirmed from Disney’s official 2026 offer pages; always confirm current details on those pages before you buy.

WHO QUALIFIES
Disney’s 2026 Military Salute offers active or retired U.S. military discounted theme park tickets and resort rooms at Walt Disney World and Disneyland — a WDW 6-Day Park Hopper for $449 + tax, Disneyland tickets from a 3-Day Park Hopper at $314, and 15%–30% off WDW rooms. Disney+ separately offers 25% off annual Premium through The Exchange.
- Active-duty U.S. military — all branches, including Space Force — with a valid military ID.
- Retired U.S. military, including retired National Guard and Reserve members.
- Reserve and National Guard members (active or retired).
- Coast Guard, Space Force, PHS Commissioned Corps, and NOAA Commissioned Corps — named explicitly on Disney’s 2026 offer pages.
- Spouses with a valid, active U.S. military ID qualify. The member OR the spouse may use the offer — not both.
- Non-retired veterans are NOT eligible for the parks Salute tickets or rooms; eligibility is tied to a valid active/retired military ID, and a DD-214 alone does not qualify.
- A 100% disabled veteran with the official 100% DAVPRM ID card is reported by specialist sources as treated as eligible, but this is not enumerated in Disney’s official 2026 terms — confirm with a base ticket office or Shades of Green before claiming.
- Surviving / un-remarried spouses are not stated in Disney’s official 2026 terms — confirm before assuming eligibility.
- Disney+ (a separate program) is broader: active members, military families, and honorably discharged veterans authorized to shop at The Exchange qualify for 25% off annual Disney+ Premium.

HOW TO REDEEM
Online at disneyworld.disney.go.com
- Disneyland tickets — buy via GOVXGo to GOVX.com, verify your military status, and purchase the 2026 Disney Military Promotional Park Hopper ticket. (WDW Salute tickets are not sold on the public Disney site — see the in-person steps.)
- Rooms — book by phoneCall Disney to book and request the 2026 U.S. Military room offer: WDW (407) 939-7830; Disneyland (866) 309-9737.

- Make park reservations immediatelyAfter buying any park ticket, make the required theme park reservations right away — they are limited and a valid ticket alone does not guarantee entry.

- Present a valid U.S. military IDThe eligible member or spouse must be the purchaser and present a valid, active or retired U.S. military ID.
- Buy up to 6 Salute ticketsPurchase up to 6 Salute tickets (5 if the member/spouse holds a valid Annual Pass or Magic Key); one of the tickets must be used by the member or spouse. No tax is added at a base office or Shades of Green.
- Activate in person with your military IDWDW tickets are not valid until activated in person with your military ID at a Walt Disney World theme park ticket window; at Disneyland, the member/spouse must present current military ID at a Main Entrance turnstile on first use.
- Link tickets and make park reservationsLink your tickets in the My Disney Experience / Disneyland app and make the required park reservations.
HOW IT WORKS
There is no online ID.me or SheerID flow for the parks Salute offer. Verification is done in person with a physical, valid U.S. military ID — first at the point of purchase, and again at activation or first use. Tickets are sold only through authorized military channels: base ticket offices, the Shades of Green Resort, Disney park ticket windows, and — for Disneyland — GOVX.com, which verifies military status online. The eligible member or spouse must be the purchaser, and at least one of the tickets must be used by that member or spouse.
Each eligible member or spouse may buy up to 6 Salute tickets (5 if they hold a valid Annual Pass or Magic Key). At Walt Disney World, tickets are not valid until activated in person at a park ticket window; at Disneyland, the member or spouse must present current military ID at a Main Entrance turnstile on first use. Park reservations are required in addition to a valid ticket and are limited.
Room savings at Walt Disney World are tiered by resort and date for 2026: Deluxe and Villa resorts save 25% on most dates and 30% in summer (June 1 – August 31); Moderates save 20% (25% summer); Values and campsites save 15% (20% summer). Disneyland offers special military rates with a 2-room-per-reservation limit. A valid military ID is required at check-in or the non-discounted rate is charged, and the member or spouse must stay in the room.
Two money-saving notes: buying at a base ticket office or Shades of Green adds no sales tax (tax applies at Disney park ticket windows), and individual base offices may charge less than Disney’s published prices. And every dollar figure here is 2026-specific — Disney resets ticket prices, room percentages, blockout dates, and validity windows each calendar year, so always re-check the official 2026 pages (or the current year’s) before booking.
Exclusions & fine print
- Non-retired veterans are not eligible for the Salute ticket/room offers; eligibility is tied to a valid active/retired U.S. military ID, not a DD-214.
- Park tickets cover entry only — no parking, and no discounts on dining, merchandise, or separately priced activities or events.
- All tickets are nontransferable and nonrefundable; each ticket must be used by the same person on all its days and may not be resold or commercially transferred.
- Cannot be combined with other ticket discounts or promotions. The WDW room offer can combine only with the 2026 Kids Dining Plan offer; otherwise rooms cannot be combined with other discounts.
- WDW room exclusions: Cabins at Copper Creek Villas & Cabins; Bungalows, 1-/2-Bedroom Villas and Penthouses at Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows; suites at Moderate/Deluxe/Deluxe Villa resorts; Club Level; and 3-Bedroom Grand Villas. Disneyland excludes select Concierge rooms, Signature/Premium suites, and 2-/3-Bedroom Villas. Member/spouse must stay in the room and show a valid military ID at check-in.
- WDW ticket blockout dates: March 29 – April 11, 2026 and November 22 – 28, 2026. Park reservations are required and limited; availability is not guaranteed.
- Caps: 6 Salute tickets max per member/spouse (5 with an Annual Pass/Magic Key); WDW Memory Maker limited to 2 per member/spouse; Disneyland rooms limited to 2 per reservation.
- Disney+: the 25% applies to the annual Premium (No Ads) plan only — not monthly plans, not the Disney Bundle; one discount per ShopMyExchange account; subscriber must be 18+.
- Annual reset: prices, percentages, blockout dates, and validity windows are set per calendar year — treat every figure here as 2026-specific and re-verify before each year.
