Just know what it actually is: not a percentage off your bill, but a bundle of free add-ons layered on a standard DISH plan. DISH sums it up as "more than $500 in value over two years."

Coupon and retailer pages describe the discount as "$10 off for 25 months" or "up to 10%–25% off." DISH’s own military page states none of that — it presents the offer as a free value bundle, not a rate cut. Many "DISH military discount" pages are DISH Authorized Retailers (usdish.com, infinitydish.com, planetdish.com, allamericandish.com), not DISH corporate; they may add their own signup gift-card bonuses but can also restate terms loosely, so verify the live offer at dish.com or with the retailer before ordering.

Verification runs through SheerID or ID.me online, or a military ID in store. SheerID checks your name, branch, and status against authoritative data — usually instant — while ID.me authenticates an uploaded military or veteran ID. We found no evidence DISH uses GovX, WeSalute, or VerifyPass for this offer.

One deployment tip that isn’t part of the military offer: DISH’s Pause / seasonal hold suspends service for roughly one to nine months at about $5/mo while you keep your equipment and account — useful during a deployment or long absence. Call DISH to set it up. And skip premium or add-on channels you won’t watch: they’re excluded from the 2-year price guarantee and drive the bill up.
