HOW IT WORKS

The documented program uses the WeSalute+ ID Card. WeSalute is a paid membership service (founded as Veterans Advantage) that verifies service status so you don’t have to share your military ID at the point of sale. Enrollment eligibility, per WeSalute: active duty, retiree, veteran, current or former guard & reserve, or an immediate family member. WeSalute membership renews on its own schedule — it isn’t a one-time, permanent verification — and the discount is honored only while your membership is active. For franchise-run discounts that don’t use WeSalute, verification is whatever the individual store accepts (commonly a military ID); there’s no central standard.

Two figures circulate that we deliberately don’t assert as current: a Team Car Care 15% program (still listed by Military.com, but its dedicated Jiffy Lube URL now redirects to the homepage — likely moved or discontinued) and a Heartland Automotive Services 25% program (announced in a November 6, 2015 press release and never re-confirmed). Treat both as historical/unverified unless a local store confirms them today. The honest bottom line: 15% via WeSalute+ is the one brand-level offer we can verify, and everything else is location-specific.
