BMW Military & Veteran Discount
$500–$5,000 toward a new BMW lease or purchase for military, veterans, family, and first responders — verified through ID.me.
BMW of North America offers the BMW Military and First Responder Incentive — $500 to $5,000 toward the lease or purchase of a new BMW, with the exact amount depending on the model you choose. It is open to active-duty service members, National Guard and Reserves, veterans, retirees, military spouses, surviving spouses, immediate military family members, and first responders.
To claim it, you verify your status online through ID.me, submit a short lead form, and receive a unique Customer ID and offer code. You then take that code to an authorized BMW Center, which applies the incentive toward your new lease or purchase. The incentive can be combined with most other BMW offers, but it cannot be used with the BMW Corporate Sales Program.
This is an independent guide, not affiliated with BMW. BMW sets and can change these terms at any time; always confirm the current amount for your model with your local BMW Center.

HOW IT WORKS
This is a per-model dollar incentive, not a fixed percentage or a self-serve coupon. BMW publishes the $500–$5,000 range, and the example amounts shown on its program page as of June 23, 2026 included the 3 Series up to $2,500, the X5 up to $4,000, the i4 up to $3,000, and the iX up to $5,000. BMW does not publish a complete per-model table and the figures change over time, so treat those examples as a snapshot and confirm your model’s current amount with a BMW Center.
Verification runs through ID.me, the same identity service used by the VA, the IRS, and many retailers. You verify the segment that matches your status, then the lead form generates a Customer ID and offer code emailed to you. The dealer step is where the incentive is actually applied — there is no in-person-only path, and BMW does not state how often ID.me re-verification is required, so don’t assume it’s permanent.
Two things to know on stacking and alternatives. The incentive combines with most BMW offers and campaigns but not the Corporate Sales Program. Separately, USAA members may have their own BMW vehicle savings offer (reported up to $2,000), but that is documented on BMW dealer pages rather than the core program page — confirm its current amount, eligibility, and whether it stacks with USAA and a BMW Center before relying on it.
Exclusions & fine print
- Available on new BMW vehicles (lease or purchase); the program page does not extend it to pre-owned/CPO.
- Most models qualify, including high-performance and SUV models, but some more exclusive models are excluded — BMW does not publish the exact excluded list and directs buyers to their BMW Center (the i4, i5, i7, and iX are confirmed currently eligible).
- Cannot be combined with the BMW Corporate Sales Program; it can be combined with most other BMW offers and campaigns.
- The amount is per-model within the $500–$5,000 range, and BMW does not publish a master per-model table; amounts change over time. U.S. only (personnel and families stationed in the United States).
- A separate USAA member vehicle offer (reported up to $2,000) appears on BMW dealer pages but is not detailed on the core program page — verify terms directly with USAA and a BMW Center before relying on it.
