THE SAN DIEGO AIR SHOW IS THE MCAS MIRAMAR AIR SHOW

See our complete [MCAS Miramar Air Show 2026 guide](/air-show/miramar/) for dates, tickets, the full performer lineup, parking, directions, and base entry rules.

WHY "SAN DIEGO AIR SHOW" POINTS TO MIRAMAR

San Diego is one of the most concentrated military-aviation regions in the country, and its marquee public flying event is the show at MCAS Miramar. Drawing roughly 700,000 spectators across three days, it's the largest military air show in the United States and was once voted the world's best. When people search for a “San Diego air show,” this is the event they mean.

A separate, smaller "San Diego Air Show" was held in past years up the coast in Carlsbad, but it is not a current annual fixture. For 2026, the show to plan around is Miramar.
