Springfield Armory Military & Veteran Discount
FIRSTLINE dealer-direct pricing for active duty, Reserve/Guard, retirees, and veterans — claimed in store, no ID.me code.
Yes, Springfield Armory has a military and veteran discount — it is called FIRSTLINE, and it has been running since 2022. But it works differently from most brand discounts: there is no online coupon and no ID.me code. FIRSTLINE is dealer-direct pricing you claim in person at one of roughly 200 participating firearm dealers by showing your military ID or DD214. Active duty, Reserve and National Guard, retirees, and honorably discharged veterans all qualify (so do law enforcement, firefighters, EMTs, and several other first responder groups).
Springfield does not publish a discount percentage, and here is the honest part: FIRSTLINE pricing is set below MSRP, but a good street or sale price — which anyone can get — is often close. The smart move is to compare the FIRSTLINE price at your dealer against the current street price, and, if you have Exchange (ShopMyExchange) privileges, against the tax-free Exchange price.
This is an independent guide. NavyWeek is not affiliated with Springfield Armory. Springfield controls FIRSTLINE terms and can change them at any time.

HOW TO REDEEM
Online at www.springfield-armory.com
- There is no online-redemption path for the firearmFIRSTLINE has no online code and no ID.me checkout step. Federal law routes gun sales through a licensed (FFL) dealer, so the discount is claimed in person — see the in-store steps below.
In store
- Find a participating FIRSTLINE dealerUse the dealer locator on springfield-armory.com/intel/firstline/ — there are roughly 200 participating dealers nationwide.
- Confirm the model is stockedCheck that the dealer stocks (or can order) the FIRSTLINE model you want; only the listed models qualify.
- Bring your credentialsShow your military ID (front and back), or a copy of your DD214 plus a driver’s license. First responders bring the agency or employment ID for their group.
- Get FIRSTLINE pricing applied on the spotThe dealer verifies eligibility and applies the FIRSTLINE price directly — no rebate, no code, no mail-in step.
- Complete the standard transferFinish the required background check and FFL transfer. FIRSTLINE handguns ship with three magazines.
HOW IT WORKS
FIRSTLINE launched May 2, 2022 as a dealer-direct program “with immediate discounts… without rebates, vouchers or post-purchase steps.” You receive the FIRSTLINE price instead of the regular price at the counter — there is no separate code to enter and no third-party portal such as ID.me, SheerID, or GovX for the firearm itself.
Roughly 37–38 models across the Hellcat, 1911, XD, SAINT, Hellion, and M1A families are covered, and FIRSTLINE handguns ship with three magazines. A purchase limit of one of each firearm type per calendar year applies per participant.
Because Springfield publishes no percentage, treat any “X% off” figure with caution. One observed dealer example put a Hellcat Pro OSP at about $524 versus roughly $649 MSRP — near 19% off MSRP — but that is a single dealer price, not an official figure, and is often close to a good street sale that requires no credential at all.
Exclusions & fine print
- Only the roughly 37–38 listed FIRSTLINE models across the Hellcat, 1911, XD, SAINT, Hellion, and M1A families qualify — not the full catalog.
- Purchase limit: one of each firearm type (Hellcat, 1911, XD, SAINT, Hellion, M1A) per participant per calendar year.
- Military civilian employees and contractors are excluded from the military track.
- The specific discount amount is not published and may vary by dealer.
- FIRSTLINE is a set price, not a stackable coupon; Springfield does not state it stacks with Gear Up rebates or store coupons — do not assume it does.
