Honda Military Appreciation Offer
$500 toward a new 2025-or-newer Honda for military, veterans, retirees, spouses, and Gold Star families — financed or leased through Honda Financial Services.
Honda’s military benefit is the Honda Military Appreciation Offer: $500 toward a new 2025-or-newer Honda when you finance or lease through Honda Financial Services (HFS). On a purchase it goes toward your down payment; on a lease it reduces the cap cost. It’s a flat $500 — not a percentage off — and it requires HFS financing with credit approval.
Eligibility is unusually broad for an automaker: active-duty military and Ready Reserve, veterans within two years of separation, retirees, the spouses of all those groups, and Gold Star family members. You prove eligibility with documents at the dealership — an LES, DD-214, Military ID, or Gold Star paperwork — there’s no online verification and no code to enter.
One $500 certificate applies per vehicle, and it combines with other HFS programs except the Zero Due at Signing Lease program. The offer runs through March 31, 2027, unless Honda ends it sooner.
This is an independent guide. NavyWeek is not affiliated with Honda or Honda Financial Services. Honda and HFS control the terms and can change or end them at any time — confirm current details with a Honda dealer or HFS before you buy.

- Choose an eligible new HondaSelect a new, untitled 2025-or-newer Honda automobile at a participating Honda dealer.
- Apply for Honda Financial Services financing or leaseThe $500 requires financing or leasing through Honda Financial Services and HFS credit approval.
- Present your documents and apply the certificateAt the dealership, the dealer applies the $500 Military Appreciation Certificate to your down payment (purchase) or cap-cost reduction (lease).
In store
- Bring your documents to the dealerBring your LES/DFAS form, DD-214/DFAS RAS, Military ID + spouse’s LES, or Gold Star documentation to a participating Honda dealership.
- Finance or lease through HFSApply for Honda Financial Services financing or lease and receive HFS credit approval.
- Dealer applies the $500 certificateThe dealer applies the one-per-vehicle $500 Military Appreciation Certificate to your down payment or lease cap-cost reduction.
HOW IT WORKS
The $500 is applied by Honda Financial Services, not the dealer directly: on a purchase it reduces your down payment, and on a lease it reduces the capitalized cost before your payment or total-due-at-signing is calculated. It only applies when you finance or lease through HFS and receive HFS credit approval — a cash buyer or someone using outside financing does not get the $500.
Verification is entirely document-based at the dealership, with no ID.me, SheerID, GovX, or online verification code involved. Active-duty and Ready Reserve members show a Leave and Earnings Statement (LES) or DFAS confirmation form. Veterans show a DFAS RAS confirmation, DD-214, or Certificate of Release/Discharge. Spouses show a Military ID plus a copy of their spouse’s LES. Gold Star family members show a Report of Casualty (DD-1300), a completed Gold Star Lapel Button application (DD-3), or other official Gold Star documentation.
Only one $500 Military Appreciation Certificate applies per vehicle, and it combines with other Honda Financial Services programs except the Zero Due at Signing Lease program — worth checking against whatever other HFS incentive you’re considering before you sign. Honda also runs a separate $500 College Graduate Bonus through HFS; it is a different program with its own eligibility, and whether it can stack with the Military offer on the same vehicle for the same buyer is not confirmed.
A note on accuracy: individual Honda dealer pages phrase this offer differently — some call it "$500 off" or a "military discount," and some still display an older "valid through 3/31/2026" window. The program itself is Honda Financial Services’ national offer, it is a flat $500 (never a percentage of MSRP), and the current verified HFS text extends the window through March 31, 2027.
Exclusions & fine print
- Requires financing or leasing through Honda Financial Services and HFS credit approval — a cash purchase or outside financing does not qualify for the $500.
- New, untitled 2025-or-newer Hondas only — not Honda Certified Pre-Owned or used vehicles.
- Only one $500 Military Appreciation Certificate applies per vehicle.
- Does not combine with the Zero Due at Signing Lease program; otherwise combinable with other Honda Financial Services programs.
- The $500 is a flat dollar amount, not a percentage off MSRP — the value does not scale with vehicle price.
- During the HFS contract or lease, the vehicle may not be taken outside the U.S. without HFS’s prior written consent, and address changes must be reported to HFS.
- Offer valid through March 31, 2027, unless terminated earlier by Honda Financial Services; some dealer pages still display an older 3/31/2026 window, which is not the current HFS text.
