Journeys Military & Veteran Discount
10% off for the verified military community — a one-time ID.me code usable in Journeys stores (U.S. incl. Puerto Rico) and online.
Journeys gives verified members of the military community 10% off through a one-time-use code unlocked with ID.me. The discount covers active duty, National Guard and Reserves, veterans, retirees, military spouses, surviving spouses, and military dependents, in line with ID.me’s standard eligibility.
The easiest path is in-store: a Journeys associate helps you scan a QR code, you verify your status through ID.me, and your 10% code is generated on the spot. You can use that code at Journeys stores across the U.S. (including Puerto Rico) or online at checkout. You can generate up to three codes per month, and each code is single-use and expires seven days after it’s created — so plan to use it soon.
This is an independent guide to help you understand and use the offer. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Journeys, and Journeys can change its discount terms at any time.

WHO QUALIFIES
Journeys gives verified members of the military community 10% off through a one-time-use code unlocked with ID.me, usable in Journeys stores across the U.S. (including Puerto Rico) and online at checkout.
- Active-duty service members, including National Guard and Reserves (per ID.me’s military community).
- Veterans (discharged/released under conditions other than dishonorable).
- Military retirees (entitled to retirement or retainer pay).
- Military spouses and surviving spouses.
- Military family members / dependents, age 18+.
- Eligibility follows ID.me’s standard military community; Journeys’ page says only "military status" and does not publish a Journeys-specific narrower list. Civilian employees, less-than-honorable discharges, and non-U.S. military are excluded by ID.me.

HOW IT WORKS
Verification is handled by ID.me, a third-party identity-verification service. In-store, an associate helps you scan a QR code that launches the ID.me flow; you can also verify through ID.me directly. ID.me confirms military status using a .mil email or by uploading qualifying documentation. Each successful verification can produce up to 3 codes per month; each code is one-time use and expires 7 days after creation.
Because codes are generated through ID.me, Journeys cannot send a replacement or fix a broken code — code issues go to help.id.me. The Journeys page does not state how often you must re-verify beyond the per-code and monthly mechanics.
Journeys’ help page nudges members toward the in-store flow for "the smoothest experience," but explicitly confirms the code can be used online at checkout. If a code doesn’t apply, confirm it hasn’t expired (7-day window) or already been used (one-time use), then contact help.id.me. Journeys also runs a separate student discount through Student Beans and UNiDAYS — that is not the ID.me military offer.
Exclusions & fine print
- Each code is one-time use, and you can generate up to 3 codes per month; each code expires 7 days after it’s created.
- Codes are generated through ID.me, so Journeys cannot reissue or fix a broken code — all code issues go to help.id.me.
- Journeys’ official help page does not publish an excluded-category list or any "cannot be combined" language, so excluded products and stacking with sales/clearance/other codes are unconfirmed — do not assume it stacks.
- Gift cards, shipping, tax, and return specifics are not stated in the official source. Online use is confirmed for U.S. checkout; international online eligibility is not stated.
