HOW IT WORKS
GORUCK verifies eligibility exclusively through GovX ID — not ID.me or SheerID. You create a free GovX ID account once, verify your status (military, first responder, teacher, or government), and GovX may re-verify periodically. At checkout the GOVXID button unlocks a code that applies the 15% to full-priced items.
The Earned Service Discount was reduced from 25% off gear to 15% effective February 17, 2020, and stacking was removed at the same time. Aggregator sites still advertising “25%–50% off” GORUCK military codes are citing the pre-2020 rate or stale/generic sale codes — the current, real offer is 15% off full-priced gear via GovX ID.
Because the ESD excludes sale items and cannot stack, the smartest play is timing. GORUCK’s public sale calendar — Veterans Day (historically up to ~35% off), Memorial Day, Black Friday/Cyber Monday, “Christmas in July,” and Labor Day — is open to everyone and typically beats the 15%.
