SiriusXM Military & Veteran Discount
25% off the top plan for the life of your subscription — for veterans, retirees, active duty, reserve, and military families, verified via SheerID.
SiriusXM offers a genuine military discount: 25% off its top plan for the life of your subscription. SiriusXM states it on its own military offer page, and it is open to veterans, retirees, active-duty and reserve service members, plus military spouses and dependents. You confirm eligibility through a third-party check (SheerID), and from then on you are charged 25% below SiriusXM’s then-current rate — about $19.49/month on the $25.99 All Access plan.
Here is the honest part: 25% is 25% off SiriusXM’s full rate, which is a price most long-term subscribers never pay. SiriusXM routinely hands out retention deals (call to cancel and you will often be offered roughly $5/month for several months), and its cheaper plan tiers run $11.99/month. If you are willing to re-negotiate every 6-12 months, you will usually beat the 25% military rate; if you would rather set it and forget it, the military discount is the better permanent floor. The two do not combine — you pick one.
This is an independent guide — we are not affiliated with SiriusXM or SheerID, and SiriusXM controls the terms and can change them at any time.

HOW TO REDEEM
Online at www.siriusxm.com
- Go to the SiriusXM military offer pageOpen siriusxm.com/offers/military (also reachable as siriusxm.com/military25).
- Choose the eligible plan and start checkoutSelect the eligible top plan and begin checkout.
- Verify your military status through SheerIDConfirm your military status through SiriusXM’s third-party verification partner, SheerID. You may be asked to submit documentation.
- Apply the 25% offThe 25% off then-current rate applies and carries for the life of the subscription, auto-renewing at 25% off. It will not combine with any other offer — if a retention or intro deal is deeper for your time horizon, use that instead.
HOW IT WORKS
The military discount is a durable floor, not the absolute cheapest price. Because it is 25% off the then-current rate rather than a locked dollar amount, if SiriusXM raises its standard rates (it did on February 24, 2026) your 25%-off price rises with them. The discount is durable; the base price is not.
SiriusXM verifies eligibility through SheerID, the partner that hosts SiriusXM’s "Exclusive Military Offer" and runs the student check. You confirm your military status once — SiriusXM’s page notes it is "subject to review of any required documentation." There is no confirmed ID.me route for the military tier despite aggregator claims; the named partner is SheerID, and a GovX SiriusXM storefront exists as an alternate door to the same class of offer.
Debunk the aggregator noise: there is no verified "75% off" or "$1-for-life" military code. The "75%" figures are conflations of the student $4/mo streaming deal or of ordinary new-subscriber and retention promos — not a military offer. A separate Student Streaming Platinum plan ($1 for 3 months, then $4/mo via SheerID, for enrolled 18+ students) is confirmed, but a standalone first-responder or nurse rate is not confirmed on SiriusXM’s official offers hub this pass, and the teacher discount is reported discontinued.
Exclusions & fine print
- The 25% cannot be combined with any other offer.
- It is 25% off the then-current rate, not a fixed price — your bill rises if SiriusXM raises rates (it did on February 24, 2026).
- The discount applies to the top plan; a lower tier may simply be cheaper outright than 25% off the top plan.
- Fees and taxes apply on every plan, including a U.S. Music Royalty Fee.
- Subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled.
- First-responder, nurse, and teacher tiers are not verified for the military offer (the teacher discount is reported discontinued) — do not assume them.
