Visit the interactive Accelerate Your Life Experience, see Navy Divers in the 4,000-gallon EOD Mobile Dive Tank and do pull-ups with the U.S. Marine Corps’ mobile fitness unit at the Go! St. Louis Family Fitness Day at Forest Park’s Cricket and Lindell Fields.

Navy rock band “Freedom” will perform at the U.S. Cellular Family Pavilion inside Busch Stadium. 
Meet “EQ” the Navy’s eco-friendly mascot at the Navy Environmental Booth there, too.

Navy Day at Busch Stadium: 
Vice Admiral David Venlet will throw the ceremonial first pitch and Petty Officer First Class Generald Wilson will sing “God Bless America” during pre-game events.  NRD St. Louis will present the American Flag with their color guard.  Discount tickets for Navy members and their guests may be found at the St. Louis Cardinals website.

4:00 p.m.
Navy Parachute Demonstration Team, the “Leapfrogs” land aboard Gateway Arch helicopter barge.

Dinner at the Missouri Athletic Club, featuring Vice Admiral David Venlet.
The St. Louis Council of the Navy League of the United States and Gateway Squadron of the Association of Naval Aviation will host a dinner at the Missouri Athletic Club, featuring Vice Admiral David Venlet.  This event is open to the public, and costs $40/person.  For reservations, please call Ethel Mariam at (314) 725-5927 by April 17.

Navy Week at the St. Louis Science Center. 
Visit the Navy Accelerate Your Life Experience or challenge a Navy diver to a game of underwater tic-tac-toe in the 7,000-gallon EOD Mobile Dive Tank.  Meet “EQ,” the Navy’s eco-friendly mascot, at the Navy Environmental Booth, learn about submarines at the Naval Undersea Warfare Center’s display and see underwater footage of ocean wrecks at the Office of Naval Research’s “Sea Perch” booth.  Other nautical events will include an 11:00 Navy “Leapfrogs” parachute demonstration at St. Louis University High School (weather permitting), a presentation featuring real sailors explaining different Navy uniforms called “Any Day in the Navy” at noon and a Navy rock band “Freedom” concert at 1 p.m.

Navy Night at New Town in St. Charles. 
Following the national anthem and American flag presentation by the Sea Cadet Color Guard, the Navy Parachute Demonstration Team, the “Leapfrogs,” will arrive via C-130.  Meet St. Louis flag officers Rear Adm. Phil Davidson and Rear Adm. Lee Metcalf and listen to a free concert by the Navy rock band “Freedom”.  This event is free and open to the public.

Naval Aviation static displays at Spirit of St. Louis Airport in Chesterfield. 
Meet real Navy pilots and see their aircraft up-close!  This event is free and open to the public.

9:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Navy Week at the St. Louis Science Center.

Navy Week at the St. Louis Earth Day Festival at Forest Park. 
What do you get when you mix Navy blue and gold?  Lots of green!  Meet “EQ,” the Navy’s eco-friendly mascot, at the Navy Environmental Booth, and learn about the Navy’s stewardship and energy conservation programs.

 

 

For security reasons, most school district rules do not allow the public to attend Navy Week events on school property.  To attend a Navy Week event at a local high school, please contact the school directly for permission.

During the course of the week the U.S. Navy's elite parachute demonstration team, the Leapfrogs, will jump into the athletic fields of the following high schools.

Parkway Central High School
Riverview Gardens High School
Ritenour High School
St. Louis University High School

Please note that if you want view or report on a high school event it must be cleared by the individual school administrative office. Neither Lt. Cmdr. Kasper nor the U.S. Navy has the authorization to let the general public come to a school.
