All of the detailed events with dates, times and locations are open to the public unless otherwise noted. Please be aware that all dates and times can change with little notice due to operational schedules and other factors. Please check this schedule frequently for any changes.

Monday, May 10, 2010

10 a.m. Navy Band Northwest "Passage" will rock the house with a daytime concert at Riverview High School.

10 a.m. Sailors from the USS Constitution will present a history program for students at Reardan Middle School  

10 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Navy Suburban will be at Reardan High School

5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. USS Constitution and local Sailors pitch in to sort food at the Second Harvest Food Bank Warehouse

6:00 - 6:30 p.m. Navy Week Proclamation reading at Spokane City Hall

10:30 a.m. - 12 p.m. Navy Band Northwest "Passage" will perform a daytime concert at Coeur D’Alene High School.
 
10:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Navy Suburban will be at University High School
 
10 a.m. - 2:45 p.m. Sailors from the USS Constitution will present a history program for students at Hallet Middle School  in Medical Lake
 
12:00 p.m. - 1:30 p.m. Rear Adm. Symonds will join Kiwanis members and present at the Spokane Club meeting.

 
2 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.  Rear Adm. Symonds will visit Whitworth College to meet with faculty and staff
 
4:30 p.m. - 6 p.m.  Local and USS Constitutions Sailors will set-up and serve dinner a community dinner at All Saints, 314 South Spruce Street in Spokane.
 
approx. 6 - 6:30 p.m.  Sailors from the USS Constitution will parade the Colors during the downtown music festival in the Spokane Arena - 720 West Mallon Avenue, Spokane.

5:oo p.m. - 7:00 p.m. 
Free Public concert! Navy Region Northwest’s rock band "Passage"will be at Riverstone Park in Coeur D’Alene - 1800 N Beebe Blvd., Coeur D'Alene.
 
5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Navy Suburban will be on location at Riverstone Park in Coeur D’Alene - - 1800 N Beebe Blvd., Coeur D'Alene

5 a.m. - 9 a.m.  KXLY TV's Mark Petersen will be on location with the Navy at the North YMCA - 10727 N. Newport Hwy., Spokane, WA 99218.
 
7 a.m. - 1 p.m.  A Navy interactive simulator will be on location at the North YMCA - Open to the public!
 
7:30 a.m. - 9 a.m.  Rear Adm. Symonds will address members of the Spokane Valley Chamber of Commerce at the Mirabeau Hotel , 1100 North Sullivan Road, Spokane Valley

8:30 a.m. - 12 p.m.  U.S. Navy Sailors help Habitat for Humanity build a home and a dream at 1603 Boone Ave.
 
9 a.m. - 2 p.m.  Navy Band Northwest "Passage" will perform a daytime concert and host two class presentations at Gonzaga Prep.
 
9:15 a.m. - 12:15 p.m.  Sailors from the USS Constitution will present a history program for students at Northwood Middle School  in Spokane
 
10:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Navy Suburban will be at West Valley High School
 
3:30 p.m. - 7 p.m.  USS Constitution Sailors tutor and interact with kids at the Boys and Girls Club, 544 East Providence Ave, Spokane

10:45 a.m. - 12:20 p.m.  Navy Band Northwest "Passage" will perform a daytime concert at Mount Spokane High School in Meade, WA. 
 
9 a.m. - 2 p.m.  Navy Simulator will be at University High School

10:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Navy Suburban will be at West Valley High School 
 
11 a.m. - 3 p.m.  A Navy Chef will perform a cooking demonstration at the Kitchen Engine, Flour Mill, 621 West Mallon Avenue #416.
 
11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. USS Constitution and locally stationed Sailors will be at the Spokane Lilac Festival military appreciation luncheon at the Davenport Hotel, 10 Post Street, Spokane.

5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Navy Suburban will be on location at Couer d'Alene City Park in Coeur d’Alene

7 a.m. - 12 p.m. Navy and city leaders participate in the Armed Forces/Lilac Festival Golf Tournament at the Coeur D’Alene Golf & Resort.

9:00 a.m. - Noon VFW Post 51 breakfast
Vice Adm. Clingan will attend and address audience attending the breakfast approximately 10:30 - 11 -cross streets of Mission and Washington in Spokane.

 12 p.m. - 5 p.m.  The Navy Suburban will be at the Car Show at Riverfront Park

 Noon - 6 p.m. -  The Navy Simulator will be at Riverfront Park

 1 p.m. - 2:10 p.m. Vice Adm. Clingan will help judge cars and award the Admiral's Choice Trophy during the Car Show at Riverfront Park

 2 - 3 p.m.  Free Public concert!  Navy Region Northwest’s rock band "Passage"will be at Riverfront Park

 2:30 p.m. - 3:10 p.m.  Vice Adm. Clingan will enlist future Sailors at Riverfront Park

 3:45 p.m. - 4:10 p.m.  Vice Adm. Clingan will conduct an inspection and deliver awards to members of the U.S. Naval Sea Cadet Corps at Riverfront Park

 5 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.  Free Public concert!  Navy Region Northwest’s rock band "Passage"will be at Riverfront Park 

7 p.m. - 10 p.m.  Join Vice Adm. Clingan as Honorary Grand Marshall of the Armed Forces Torchlight Parade. Locally-stationed Sailors and USS Constitution crew will also participate in the evening’s events and interact with the community.

Throughout Spokane Navy Week, our Flag Officer and other special guests will do presentations and make visits to various local schools, hospitals and other civic organizations.
