1:00 p.m.
Rock County Navy Week kicks off at a Midwest League professional baseball game
The Beloit Snappers take on the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers at Pohlman Field in Beloit, Wisconsin.  Pre-game activities include: The US Navy parachute team, "Leap Frogs" jump into Pohlman Field, the US Navy's five-piece rock band, "Horizon," will perform, the US Navy flight simulator will be open to the public, and VADM Dirk Debbink, throws out the first pitch and enlists new service men & women from all branches of the armed forces.  Arrive early to be one of the first in line to experience what it's really like to be a Blue Angel while listening to the rock'n sounds of "Horizon!"

Monday, 25, 2009

9:00 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.
Beloit Memorial Day Parade
Chief of the Navy Reserve, VADM Dirk Debbink will serve as the Grand Marshall of the Beloit Memorial Day Parade starting at 9 a.m.  The US Navy Marching Band and the US Navy's 50-State Flag Team will perform in the Beloit & Janesville Memorial Day Parades.  VADM Debbink will be the guest speaker at Traxler Park after the Janesville Parade, which starts at 11:30 a.m.

2:00 p.m.
Navy SEAL Fitness Challenge at Traxler Park.  
Come out and challenge yourself...see if you have what it takes to be a Navy SEAL.

The US Navy's five-piece rock band, "Horizon," will perform in Traxler Park.

Chief of the Navy Reserve, VADM Dirk Debbink will speak at Beloit Rotary Club noon meeting.

The US Navy Concert Band performs at the Janesville Performing Arts Center
