Navy Week Rocks County in Wisconsin
The U.S. Navy's Flight Demonstration Squadron, The Blue Angels, provided a spectacular finale to the Rock County Navy Week May 31 when they performed before a crowd of more than 40,000 at the Southern Wisconsin Airfest.
The display was part of the Navy Recruiting District Chicago- and Navy Office of Community Outreach (NAVCO)- coordinated navy week. The week-long schedule of events was designed to show Americans the investment they have made in the Navy and increase awareness in cities which do not have a significant Navy presence.
