And whether they know it or not, visitors to the show are helping students to do just that.Janna Drew still gets a thrill seeing the stunt shows that aerobatic pilots put on, even if that isn't the type of flying she now does. Drew is a graduate of the Wisconsin Aviation Academy, a program that allows high school students to earn a pilot's license. Six blue and yellow F/A-18 Hornets with the Blue Angels descended Thursday morning from an endless gray sky and onto the runway at the Southern Wisconsin Regional Airport.
Straight from Pensacola, Fla., the U.S. Navy’s flight demonstration squadron is in town for the Southern Wisconsin AirFEST, which runs through Sunday.
