Oklahoma City Navy Week 2009 —
Navy Warrior Fitness Challenge

Join in a series of physical fitness events intended to challenging athletes to maximize their performance in individual tests of strength and endurance. It closely mirrors the initial physical screening test given to anyone who desires to become a SEAL. The event consists of swimming, push ups, sit ups, pull-ups and running.

If you ever wondered how you stack against America's elite operations team, take the NavyWarrior Fitness Challenge and see how fit you really are!

Navy Warrior Fitness Challenge -
Special Event Waiver

In consideration of participation in the Navy Warrior Fitness Challenge ("Event"), the undersigned participant ("Participant") and/or the Participant's Parent/Guardian (if the Participant is under 18 years of age), for himself/herself, his/her personal representatives, heirs and next of kin, acknowledges, agrees and represents that he/she has or will inspect the facilities and equipment to be used in the Event, and if he/she believes that any unsafe conditions exist, he/she will immediately advise an Event official of such conditions and will refuse to participate until such conditions are corrected.

VOLUNTARY WAIVER AND RELEASE. The undersigned (or his/her parent or guardian) hereby releases, waives and discharges, and covenants not to sue the United States Navy, and the owners and/or lessors of the Event premises, and the officers, directors, employees, subcontractors and agents of all the foregoing (referred to herein as "Event Organizers"), from any and all liability to the undersigned, his/her personal representatives, assigns, heirs and next of kin or any and all loss or damage, and any claims and demands of every kind and nature, for damages actual and consequential, past, present and future, arising out of or in any way related to the Event, including but not limited to any claims of personal injury or death from participating in the Event or the loss of personal property by theft or otherwise during the Event, any publicity relating to the Event, any prizes awarded, and any loss of collegiate or high school eligibility as a result of participation in the Event, whether caused by negligence of the Event Organizers or otherwise.

INDEMNIFICATION AND HOLD HARMLESS. The undersigned (or his/her parent or guardian) hereby agrees to indemnify and save and hold harmless the Event Organizers and each of them from loss, liability, damage or cost they may incur due to the undersigned's participation in the Event, whether caused by the negligence of the Event Organizers or otherwise.

ASSUMPTION OF RISK. The undersigned (or his/her parent or guardian) hereby assumes full responsibility for and risk of bodily injury, death or property damage due to the negligence of the Event Organizers or otherwise while participating in or observing the Event.

PUBLICITY. The undersigned (or his/her parent or guardian) hereby consents to the use without compensation, of his/her name and/or likeness, biographical material and/or voice in publicity and advertising concerning the Event, and Event sponsors and/or their promotion in any and all media and throughout the world.
