Navy Week New Orleans 2012, in conjunction withcommemoration of the Bicentennial of the War of 1812,will be packed with events demonstrating the mission of the U.S. Navy and our proud heritage. These events will include:

- Namesake crew visit,
- USS Constitution,
- Navy Band,
- Blue Angels,
- Leap Frogs,
- Navy Suburban Tour,
and Navy Simulator

The goal of every Navy Week is to give area residents an opportunity to meet some of the Navy's Sailors and learn about the Navy's critical missions and its broad ranging capabilities.

NOLA Navy Week War of 1812 Bicentennial Events to Begin Here

New Orleans will serve as the inaugural city in a three-year national celebration commemorating the War of 1812 and the Star-Spangled Banner.
