USS New Orleans Sailors Tour NASA Michoud Assembly Facility

Joint Color Guard and 25 Sailors unfurling the American Flag in the New Orleans Saints Military Appreciation game on Monday Night Football against the Atlanta Falcons

 

Tuesday, November 3th, 2009

6 a.m. - 8 a.m.
New Orleans Mission.  Sailors will help prepare and serve breakfast at the new Orleans Mission.

10 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Navy Divers, Navy Band, and the F/A–18 Navy Fighter Jet Simulator at the Aquarium of the Americas

Morning TV interview with Rear Admiral Guillory on WWL-TV Ch 4

10:00 a.m.
New Orleans City Council Navy Week Proclamation at City Hall with Rear Admiral Guillory.  
Navy vocalist and keyboard accompanist for patriotic music.

10:30 a.m.
Veterans Celebration-Performance by Navy's Ceremonial Band
Captain Snyder will be the feature speaker at the Veterans Celebration.
Location: Veterans Memorial Park in Kenner, LA.

11:45 a.m. - 12:45 p.m.
Rear Admiral Guillory speaks to students at Holy Cross High School.

12:10 p.m.

Location: Jesuit High School

Navy Sailors will be working on a Habitiat for Humanity project all day
