Houston Navy Week 2009 is packed with events demonstrating the mission of the Navy and our proud heritage. These events include Blue Angels, Navy Band performances, USS GEORGE H.W. BUSH (CVN 77) crewmembers, Accelerate Your Life Experience, Navy Theme-Wrapped Suburbans. All intend to give the public a personal look at the men and women of the Navy serving throughout the world in different roles.

Rear Admiral Mark Skinner will serve as our spokesperson. In addition to the admiral, there could be guest appearances from the Navy Blue Angels, Navy Band and crewmembers of the namesake USS GEORGE H.W. BUSH (CVN 77).
