Lausman, commanding officer of the nuclear-powered aircraft carrier USS George Washington (CVN 73) (2nd on left) and Commander, Naval Air Forces Vice Adm. Allen G. Myers (far right) pose for a group photo with six Michigan-born Sailors from George Washington. The six Sailors will be in Detroit July 18-24 to participate in the Detroit Navy Week where they will educate their local community about life aboard the Navy's only permanently forward deployed aircraft carrier.
