Central Ohio Navy Week 2009 is packed with events demonstrating the mission of the Navy and our proud heritage. These events include "Leap Frog" Parachute Team, and Navy Band performances, Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Dive Tank, SEAL Accelerator, SEAL Fitness Challenge, Navy TACH Demos and Flyovers, Blue Angels F/A-18 Flight Simulator, Accelerate Your Life Experience (AYLE) Simulator and Navy Theme-Wrapped Suburban all intent to give the public a personal look at the men and women of the Navy serving throughout the world in different roles.


Vice Admiral Jeffrey L. Fowler will serve as our spokesperson. In addition to the Admiral, there could be guest appearances from a namesake crew, the Navy Blue Angels, Navy "Leap Frog" Parachute Team, Navy Band and other outstanding local Sailors

This year, 21 cities have been selected to host a Navy Week including Phoenix, St. Louis, Des Moines, Denver, Spokane, Rock County WI, Rochester, Chattanooga, Oklahoma City, Quad Cities, Boston, Salinas CA, Omaha, Central Ohio, Knoxville, York PA, Reno, Albuquerque, Greenville SC, Houston and New Orleans.
