Rear Adm. Michael Yurina, Deputy Director of Submarine Security and Technology, Submarine Warfare Division, will meet with the moms and dads of U.S. Navy Sailors and parents with children who are considering joining the Navy during a special dinner. Navy for Moms is a social networking site where Moms (or Dads!) who have questions about Navy life for their kids can ask questions and get information from mothers of kids who are already in the U.S. Navy. Navy Culinary event with Le Cordon Bleu Atlanta and Navy Birthday Celebration
Navy Chefs will assist Le Cordon Bleu Chefs with classroom instruction, the the Navy Chefs will compete in a cake baking and decorating contest judged by the students. At the end of the event Le Cordon Bleu will present a Navy Birthday Cake celebrating 235 years of naval service! Cake presentation is scheduled for 2:30.
